Solidification of Al-Mn-based alloys under various processing parameters

چکیده

Abstract A number of Al-Mn-based alloys were investigated with a view to their commercialization. Various casting techniques used affect the constitution studied from crystalline quasi-crystalline as well other metastable states. Variations in cooling rates and chemical composition, along processing parameters, have been shown allow us control final properties what we believe could be next generation commercial Al-based alloys. Our research has that solidification process Al-Mn based additions metallic elements can lead formation very complex states, opening up possibilities for designing controlling The proved complex, but explained by basic knowledge crystallisation melts. We discovered changing parameters composition controlled way, it is possible tailor alloys, making them attractive purposes.
